Secreto del Olivo is located in Niguelas, a charming village at the foothills of Sierra Nevada range, some half an hour drive from Granada’s center. And so you get the best of both worlds: a short distance from the Alhambra, Sacromonte, Albayzin and everything else that Granada holds , without having to put up with the noise and traffic of a large town. 9 rooms spread on two levels congregate around a central patio, exuding an air of Moroccan riad, all wood beams and furniture de la epoca. There is never too much to ask from Elisenda, the heart of the house. She will heat up or cool your room in advance and introduce you to the area and the village. She will dispense advice on great walks to have in the Valle de la Alegria ( Valley of Hapiness) or all the way to Lanjaron and then the pueblos blancos of Las Alpujarras.
