If you’re not that much into olive oil, you will still enjoy the premises of this capriccio that designer Phillip Starck gave himself, reconverting an Andalusian cortijo just outside Ronda, spreading on 25 hectars, complete with greenhouse, organic garden, vineyard and… a chapel. Tours of the property in a golf caddy will familiarize you with olive trees from all over the world and Mediterranean. Why we fancy this untypical property ? They are the first ones to do things differently in a region where few dare stray away from tradition. Hopefully not the last. And the staff speaks fluent English. Farm to table dining available on site. Best visited all year round except summer.
